Universal Unlockables
All versions of Dino Crisis (PlayStation, PC, and Dreamcast) share the following unlockable content:
Alternate Costumes
- Army and Battle costumes: Complete the game once
- Ancient costume: Complete the game twice
- Note: The Ancient costume on PC includes unique weapon skins
Infinite Grenade Gun
- Requirement: Complete the game three times with different endings
- Effect: Start the game with an infinite-ammo Grenade Gun
Game Endings Guide
To unlock the Infinite Grenade Gun, you’ll need to achieve three different endings. Here’s how to get each one:
Ending 1 – Hovercraft Escape
- Choose Rick’s route for the final decision
- Don’t visit the Underground Heliport
- Outcome: Gail survives, Kirk’s fate unknown
- Key Scene: Rick destroys the T-Rex using a rocket and fuel tank explosion
Ending 2 – Gail’s Sacrifice
- Choose Gail’s route for the final decision
- Don’t visit the Underground Heliport
- Outcome: Gail dies, Kirk survives
- Key Scene: Regina must defeat the T-Rex using an explosive in its mouth
Ending 3 – Helicopter Escape (Version 1)
- Choose Rick’s route
- Follow the Transmitter to the Underground Heliport
- Outcome: Everyone survives
- Key Scene: Rick kills the T-Rex with a dropped bomb
Ending 4 – Helicopter Escape (Version 2)
- Choose Gail’s route
- Visit the Underground Heliport first
- Meet Gail in the Stabilizer Experiments Room
- Outcome: Similar to Ending 3, everyone survives
- Note: Either Ending 3 or 4 counts as the third unique ending for unlocking content
PC Version Cheats
The PC version features exclusive character swap codes. During gameplay, press Enter and type:
alien crisis
– Play as Aliengail 1
– Play as Gailraptor rise
– Play as Raptorregi 2000
– Play as Reginarick 2
– Play as Rick
Operation Wipe Out Mode
This arcade-style bonus mode challenges players to eliminate dinosaurs within a time limit. Platform availability varies:
- PlayStation: Must be unlocked by completing the main game in under 5 hours
- PC and Dreamcast: Available by default, no unlocking required
Mode Features
- Limited ammunition and healing items
- Multiple floors to clear
- Timer-based scoring system
- Item mixing capabilities similar to the main campaign
- No specific rewards, but includes personal best time tracking
Platform Differences
Key differences between versions:
PlayStation
- All unlockables must be earned through gameplay
- Operation Wipe Out requires completion under 5 hours
PC and Dreamcast
- Exclusive character swap codes (PC only)
- Operation Wipe Out available from the start
- All other unlockables earned through normal gameplay
Pro Tip: When attempting to unlock the Infinite Grenade Gun, create separate save files for each ending path. This makes it easier to track which endings you’ve achieved and allows you to reload from key decision points.
