Post about other things that have dinosaurs in them (couldn't really think of a better name for the thread.)

Even though I haven't played DC yet I am pretty sure nothing in it will be scarier than this from Tomb Raider.

Seeing this come out of nowhere was probably one of the more frightening moments in my childhood.

What about a little film called Jurassic Park?

I'm still waiting for the fourth one...

Lol I just remember now I used to play this JP game on PS1 I think it was. It wasn't that good but it had dino's so it was acceptable.

And what about the little game called Jurassic Park? :D I had it on Amiga.
I wouldn't be surprised if the developers of DC got inspiration from that game.

I'm pretty sure they did. Even a character in the game is like 'hey, it's just like that movie'. Jurassic Park was released about 6 years earlier - so ten chances to one it was definitely a reference.

I believe Cooper's name, position on the team and death were all taken from Jurassic Park.

In Final Fantasy XII there was a boss called Earth Tyrant, which was basically a T-Rex.

Those ... monsters!

I remember exploring the "overworld" the first time. I was just minding my own business running around and one came out of nowhere and killed me in one hit. I did nothing to provoke such a thing.

All hail the brialliance that is Digimon World 1.
This is Monochromon ('s Shop to be precise) right here. There's even a place called Ancient Dino Region full of of other dinosaurs where time goes by 2x slower.
